Common Questions

How does the customer portal work with cases?
Style a customer portal on your website to allow your customers to submit support questions, RMA requests, view case and RMA status. Your customer service agents can answer questions, troubleshoot cases and quickly create RMA's.
How does the free trial work?
After your discovery call, we'll set you up with a free trial. You'll get access to all the features SupportSync offers free for 15 days with unlimited users and transactions. No credit card is necessary during your trial period. We will contact you prior to expiration to help customize a plan that works best.
What happens at the end of my trial?
Select a plan that best fits your needs and click on the "Subscribe Now" button on this page. Once we receive your Client Profile, you will receive a link for payment to start your subscription. If you choose not to continue, your trial account will simply expire. We're confident you'll see the value and continue!
What types of payment do you accept?
We accept payments of all major credit cards for every plan. The annual Enterprise Plan also has the option of invoicing which can be paid by check or wire transfer.
Can I upgrade or downgrade anytime?
Yes. SupportSync is a pay-as-you-go service and you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. You can create new users as needed within your plan or contact us at billing@supportsync.com and we'll help customize a plan that compliments your needs as your business grows.
What is a User? Return Center? Brand?
A User is anyone with a unique user name that logs into SupportSync. A Return Center represents a unique physical address of the location your returns are received and/or shipped. A Brand is a product(s) manufactured by your company under a unique name which has a separate database of records. You can manage all of your Brands and Return Centers within one account.
What does integrated shipping mean?
With our integrated shipping feature, you can connect directly to your UPS, FedEx and USPS accounts (USPS requires an Endicia account) to create shipping labels, check rates and return tracking information with the click of a button.
What does the Testing & Serial Number Management module do?
The items you receive into SupportSync can be tested and the customized test results are recorded. Reports can then be analyzed for corrective action by any team member. Test results are also linked to the RMA's original reason for return. The serial number module automatically records each items physical location to track its whereabouts.
What is a completed transaction? How are they charged?
Each return or part request has a status. A completed transaction is a return or part request that has a completed status during a monthly billing cycle.
Do you have contracts or cancellation fees?
No. SupportSync is a pay-as-you-go service. We do not have contracts or cancellation fees. You can cancel whenever you want. If you cancel, you'll be billed for the current billing cycle but you won't be billed again. Simply contact us to cancel your service.
Who owns my data?
You do! You can export your data from SupportSync at any time.
Is my data safe?
We take data security very seriously. Our servers are hosted by world class data centers that are protected by 24-hour surveillance and we ensure that our application is always up to date with the latest security patches. All our plans include SSL encryption to keep your data safe.
