Introduction

SupportSync Product and Services are designed for our customers to collect and manage returns that can include personal information that was created, entered and displayed by our customer, customer agents and end-users. Your personal information and service data entered is important to you, and therefore, have adopted this privacy policy.

We recognize that your privacy and the protection to our website and customers/users of our Product and Services. This privacy policy describes our privacy practices and how we treat the personal information and service data that we collect from you when you created your account and use our products and services.

The SupportSync privacy policy applies to all of the products, services, and websites offered by SupportSync and our related, affiliated and/or subsidiary companies (collectively, the "Products and Services").

What Information We Collect

Personal Information

SupportSync collects personally identifiable information when you register on our site. The information collected may include, but is not limited to the following: email, name, phone, IP address, browser information, and address. Any comments or questions you submit may be recorded as well.

Customer Service Data Information Collected

We collect information that is entered, created, displayed and stored by our customers (including, agents/users) and end-users that may include personal information used in our products. Collection of information by our customers and end-users takes place at various times while navigating SupportSync's site and using our Software, Products and Services. When entering SupportSync's site, information may be collected about previous sites the person has viewed. If questions or comments have been submitted via email or a forum on our website, personal information is collected as well. All data collected by our customers (including, agents/users) and end-users from above will be referred on the policy as “Customer Service Data”.

How the Information Collected is Used

Registration information collected

The goal of collecting customer and viewer information is to create a friendlier and more efficient experience while working with SupportSync. Personal information submitted at the time of registration may be used by SupportSync for the marketing and promotion of SupportSync products that we feel may be of interest to you. You may "opt out" of these marketing activities via email at help@supportsync.com. We may use demographic and/or profile data to tailor your experience on our sites, show you content that we think you may be interested in, and display content according to your preferences. Furthermore, we shall have the right to retain records of all data pertaining to use of the website including, but not limited to, usage, activity logs, and click-throughs.

Customer Service Data information collected

Customer Service Data entered or collected by our customers can be used for third parties (ex: UPS, Federal Express and United Postal Services) shipping methods to process shipping labels. Customer service data can be exported by our customer managers/supervisors for their choice of third parties. To Whom We Disclose Personal and Service Data Information

We take your privacy very seriously. None of the personal information and service data that is collected by SupportSync is rented or sold to any third parties for any purpose. Limited information may be shared or framing techniques with a third party (such as a Credit Card processor) that has partnered with SupportSync if that information is protected under a confidentiality obligation with that third party and is used only as a part of providing the SupportSync service to the customer.

In cases of onward transfer by SupportSync to third parties of data EU individuals received pursuant to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, SupportSync is liable unless we can prove we were not a party to the events giving rise to the damages.

SupportSync is required to disclose an individual's personal information in response to a lawful request by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.

EU-US Data Privacy Framework

SupportSync complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (EU-U.S. DPF) and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF, as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce. SupportSync has certified to the U.S. Department of Commerce that it adheres to the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework Principles (EU-U.S. DPF Principles) with regard to the processing of personal data received from the European Union and the United Kingdom in reliance on the EU-U.S. DPF and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF. If there is any conflict between the terms in this privacy policy and the EU-U.S. DPF Principles, the Principles shall govern.

In compliance with the EU-U.S. DPF and the UK Extension to the EU-U.S. DPF SupportSync commits to resolve DPF Principles-related complaints about our collection and use of your personal information. If you do not receive timely acknowledgment of your complaint, or if your complaint is not satisfactorily addressed, please visit https://www.bbbprograms.org/dpf-complaints for more information and to file a complaint. This service is provided free of charge to you.

SupportSync is subject to the investigatory and enforcement powers of the Federal Trade Commission.

Other Information

By submitting personal information to us or using our site, you agree that we may collect and use such personal information in accordance with our privacy policy or as permitted by law. If you do not agree with these terms, do not provide any personal information to us. If you refuse or withdraw consent, or do not provide us with any necessary personal information, we may not be able to provide you with products or service.

Choices - Removal From Our Database

We offer individuals the opportunity to choose (opt out) whether their personal information is (i) to be disclosed to a third party or (ii) to be used for a purpose that is materially different from the purpose(s) for which it was originally collected or subsequently authorized by the individuals.

Data collected of our customers

To request removal from the database, please submit a support request with the subject "Opt Out" to help@supportsync.com and we will be happy to remove your information promptly. If you request that we modify or remove all of your personal information, we will promptly do so, to the extent possible. Once your personal information has been removed you will not be able to use our products or services unless you re-register.

Customer Service Data from our customers

SupportSync respects the privacy the end-user rights in being able to access, removal/modify their information stored within the Customer Service Data from our customer’s database.

We will do our best to work with all parties for access, removal or modification of their personal information.

When you use SupportSync Products and Services, we send to your computer one or more cookies (i.e. a small file containing a string of characters) that uniquely identifies your browser. We use cookies to improve the quality of our Products and Services by storing user preferences and tracking. We may also use cookies to keep track of your session, shopping cart, and advertising delivery. We may use an outside ad company to display ads on our sites. These ads may also contain cookies. While we use cookies in other parts of our websites, cookies received with banner ads are collected by our ad company and we do not have access to this information. Forums

Our community forums are publicly accessible blogs. Since the information is public, be aware that the information in the forums can be collected and used from others who view the forum. To request removal information displayed from our forum, please submit a support request to help@supportsync.com and we will be happy to attempt to remove your information promptly.

Links

We may create links to other web sites. We will make reasonable efforts to link only to sites that meet similar standards for maintaining each individual's right to privacy. However, many other sites that are not associated or authorized by us may have links leading to our sites. We cannot control these links and we are not responsible for any content appearing on these sites.

IP Addresses

We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site and gather broad demographic information for aggregated used. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.

Children's Privacy Protection

We recognizes the privacy interests of children. Our products are not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not market our products to children under 13. SupportSync does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.

Security

This web site has security measures in place designed to protect against loss, misuse and/or alteration of the information that you provide. Furthermore, we have taken reasonable precautions to prevent any unauthorized access to the contents of this web server.

Changing of Personal Information

You may edit your personal information at any time by clicking on the "Admin" folder when you are signed in to SupportSync. All information may be changed including: address, email, phone and more. The new information will be updated in our system and used in the collection of information when visiting SupportSync.

Merger or Acquisition

In the event that SupportSync merges or is acquired by another company, all current information SupportSync has will be shared with the other company. SupportSync will do its best to inform you of the transaction. This Privacy Policy inures to the benefit of our successors and assigns.  

Google Maps API

Google Maps API is implemented on some pages of this website. By using the Google Maps API implementation on this website, users are agreeing to be bound by Google’s Terms of Service. Users are notified that the use of the Google Maps API on this website is subject to the Google Privacy Policy, as amended by Google from time to time.

Amendments

We may amend this policy at any time. If we are going to use personally identifiable information collected through our sites in a manner materially different from that stated at the time of collection we will notify users via email and/or by posting a notice on our site for thirty (30) days prior to such use. This Privacy Policy may not be amended by you except in a writing that specifically refers to this Privacy Policy and is physically signed by both parties.
